This is the second book by Rusty Wise about the life of Belinda Bee.  It is as charming and delightful as the first book (Belinda Bee's Busy Year) with lovely illustrations by the author.  My grandchildren, age 2 and 5 are so pleased to have another book about Belinda Bee and are learning more about the life of bees from having this book read to them.

I bought both the Belinda Bee Books by Rusty Wise, for my five and seven year olds. Book one Belinda Bee's Busy Year, was an interesting opening to the subject of the life of a bee, interestingly written from the poin t of view of the bee, not the beekeeper. This led nicely and naturally into the second book Belinda Bee Swarms Away. Another adventure story from the bees point of view which clearly illustrates the difficulties faced by bees when then have to swarm. As a non-beekeeper I also found the last chapter in both books very useful as I was able to read up on them before having to answer my kids questions. Two very good well written books for the under 10's
