Serena Stevens was born in 1972 in the city of Bristol in the county of Avon, England. She went to Whitefield Secondary school where she realized her love of writing. She moved to London in 1986 and worked in the Sports and Leisure industry for 10 years. In 2004 she moved to West Sussex and worked at Gatwick Airport. She lives with her partner, dog and four cats. In 2006 she became a full time carer for her partner who lives with Multiple Sclerosis and finished her first Novel; Mind Links.
