Mark Roberts
Mark, at 49, has led a varied life with Military Service being a major part since leaving school. His love of words began at an early age when he and his friends would recreate old Goon Radio plays on a tape recorder; as well as making up songs and other plays about childhood fun to record.
He started writing when he found he had the knack of writing poetry for fellow troops to send home to loved ones when he was away on tours. He has also tried his hand at comedy sit com's, writing with an old friend from work and again on his own. Both were rejected by the BBC much to his disappointment.
His ambition was to write a screenplay. Having completed this he has turned it into a book so with hope that this is enjoyed by many it may see itself onto the big screen for all to enjoy. This is his first novel.
He lives in Worcestershire with his wife. He has two adopted children and two grandchildren.
